Vermont UMC's Children and Youth Ministry is under Katye Beard, our children and youth director. The ministry offers daycare services during worship on Sundays, providing the Lord's teachings at levels catered to various age groups. This ministry strives to engage kids to the Bible's lessons and what it means to be part of the United Methodist Church.
Throughout the year, there are many opportunities for kids to make a difference in the community through fundraisers and groups held on Church premises. Boys and girls are invited to join The Trail Life Troop 1557 and The American Heritage Girls to learn skills and lessons that can aid in personal growth. Vacation Bible School is also held annually to engage kids and the community, not only providing a fun and interactive experience for kids, but bringing the community together for a time won't be forgotten.
